PAHO Toastmasters Club meetings are held biweekly every 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of the month at the PAHO (Pan American Health Organization) office building in Room 615, located at 525 23rd St., N.W., Washington D.C. 20037. The building is unique and looks like a giant round, circular hepa filter or carburetor.
By Metro:
The PAHO office is approximately a 6 minute walk from the Foggy Bottom metro station on the blue/orange line. After exiting the foggy bottom metro station, turn right and walk down 23rd street, past Virginia Avenue. The PAHO building will be on your left.
Driving Directions From Maryland (I-270S area):
1 Merge onto I-270 S toward WASHINGTON.
2 Take I-270 SPUR S toward I-495 S/NORTHERN VIRGINIA. (2.03 miles)
3 Merge onto CAPITAL BELTWAY/I-495 S. (3.77 miles)
4 Take the VA-193 exit- exit number 43-44- toward GEORGE WASHINGTON MEMORIAL PKWY/GEORGETOWN PIKE. (0.39 miles)
5 Merge onto GEORGE WASHINGTON MEMORIAL PKWY S via exit number 43. (9.25 miles). Then follow instructions below (to connect to I66E).
Driving Directions From Virginia (using I-66):
1 Merge onto I-66 E toward WASHINGTON.
2 Take the E STREET exit on the left toward I-66 E. (0.14 miles)
3 Take the E STREET ramp. (0.20 miles)
4 Stay straight to go onto E ST EXWY. (0.06 miles)
5 Take the ramp toward VIRGINIA AVE. (0.10 miles)
6 Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto D ST NW. (0.02 miles)
7 Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto ramp. (0.07 miles)
8 Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto E ST NW. (0.09 miles)
9 Turn RIGHT onto 23RD ST NW. (0.02 miles)
Note: Parking is limited and difficult in the area. Allow for an extra 10 or 15 minutes to find parking.
